I’ve spent the last 20+ years coaching, training, and guiding men and women to become stronger—not just in the gym, but in life.
But my journey didn’t start with success.
I was just a young guy, 17 years old with a passion for training, working a couple of shifts at the gym I later went on to own 10 years later. I dedicated over a decade of my life to owning and running that gym, helping thousands of people break past their physical and mental barriers. Through relentless commitment and a life of 70+ working weeks – week in – week out without ever a week off… I eventually built something that meant more than just a place to train—it was a space where people felt comfortable and found purpose, direction, and healed from their traumas and struggles.
Then, everything changed. After making my thoughts clear about how I wanted to progress the business – the people involved were not on board and I new I was never gunna’ be able to achieve what I ultimately set out to achieve with the setup, resources and contract I had.
After fighting to keep my gym alive during one of the most economically challenging times in history – COVID, and so much support from my members to try to bounce back – I hoped as people returned to training after lockdowns I could get everything back on track back but eventually, it came to light that the landlords and local authorities had other plans…. Coming in with BIG MONEY to redevelop the site where my gym was located.
Nothing I can do at that point when I got told – they don’t want to renew my contract, they have other plans, and have almost 7 figures to go ahead with their plans.
I was pretty much told I was about to lose everything I worked for and sacrificed my time, effort and money for over the last 20 years…
I’d missed out on a lot of my kids childhoods. I’d pushed through some dark places, tough times and a lot of burnout.
I could sit and let everything I built fall apart, or I could evolve.
My gym closed down in April 2024 and, I lost direction. Had options, ideas and a lot of free time… but I lost myself a little.
After the gym closing, I found myself with a lot of free time to reflect, parent, train, cook and eat food off of a plate, not out of tupperware on the gym floor…
I spent a lot of time understanding myself more, working on myself and figuring out what impact do I truly want to have on this world in my next chapter of life!
Now, I coach a handful of people 1-1 out of Greenside gym, Newcastle, UK… but also beyond the gym floor, online and digitally, from four corners of the world from Australia, Europe and North America—helping them heal, build strength, resilience, confidence, and sovereignty in a world designed to weaken them.
This mission is personal. It goes beyond fitness, beyond coaching, beyond business.
I do this for two reasons—my family and my own battles with the darkness.
I have three kids, two daughters and a son (All with Samantha, we’ve been together 15 years). My son has cystic fibrosis, a life-threatening illness that has forced him to fight every single day. Doctors told me he may not see his 18th birthday. He’s almost 14 now. Every day, I watch him go through daily medications and protocols, monthly hospital visits, and constant challenges—yet he keeps pushing forward. My mission is to give him the best life possible. I want him to experience everything a kid should—Disneyland, theme parks, adventures, and memories that matter. His resilience is my inspiration.
And then there’s my own journey.
I’ve been in the darkest places—suicidal thoughts, crippling depression, burnout, failing relationship, financial stress. In my early 20s, I was the master of justifying every excuse. I couldn’t stick to any diet or training plan, I gave in to every mental battle, and I felt like there was no way out. I didn’t have the courage to end my life, but I was trapped in a cycle of misery.
Robin Williams once said that those who have truly suffered just want to make sure no one else has to feel the way they did. That’s me. I know what it feels like to be at rock bottom, and I know how to climb out of it. That’s why I do this. To help others break free, rebuild themselves, re-discover themselves and never feel like they’re trapped in their own mind ever again.
I don’t just train people. In the nicest way possible – I help them wake up.
For years, I watched people walk into my gym and talked to a lot of people who were burned out, lost, and running on empty with no real purpose. They weren’t just struggling with training—they were struggling with their mental health, their physical health, their purpose in life. It was deeper than just a lack of motivation. Something bigger was at play.
The modern world is stripping people of their energy, confidence, and drive—and most don’t even realize it.
Toxic food. Endocrine disruptors and xenoestrogens all around us. Sedentary lifestyles. Mental programming that encourages weakness. A culture that ridicules masculinity and promotes drinking at every opportunity. It’s no coincidence that people today are struggling more than ever.
I saw it happening in real time. And I refused to let it continue without trying to do something about it.
This isn’t just about lifting weights. This is about reclaiming control of your body, your mind, and your future.
