Morning everyone, hope you’re enjoying your Sunday 😀 (4 Min Read)

I’ve put out two posts here earlier this week… The first addressing reopening dates, details and some operating info… AND, the other addresses concerns and queries over booking systems, time limits and member restrictions. Please go read those if you have any questions on those topics.

The first post earlier this week mentioned a major UPDATE

I need to address that fully today.

Before March 2020, I had over 300 active members.

Two thirds (2/3) of those have cancelled over the course of the last 5 months. I now have around 100 active members, whom I greatly appreciate.

I have never used a 3rd party finance company or issued contract periods. Everyone is on rolling monthly payments.

100 people have chosen to leave their subscription active, the whole time, to repay thanks to me for helping them transform their life over the years, and others because they wanted to support the gym, me – and my family.

Many others paid for numerous months before cancelling and I think we all hoped the gym would have reopened long before 5 months.

Either way, it’s appreciated and from the bottom of my heart, that means the world to me to know, people actually wanted to do that.

Many people found themselves wanting/needing to downsize their outgoings due to the financial difficulties of COVID19 and lockdown.

I’ve spoken to many people who have lost their jobs and as a result needing to give up their homes and cars.

And finally, there are people who had paid for 1,3,6 and 12 months upfront before March 2020 – and have been unable to use the service which they paid for in advance.

I am happy to owe any remaining services to those people who had any remaining membership on March 19th 2020.

Many people insist on being owed service for membership they could not use over the last 5 months.

Others insist on paying again from when we reopen – on Monday 27th July 2020.

I understand either way👍

Hopefully that answers any questions, please contact me on social media, call or email me if you have any further queries.

Now, the final bit……….

Before March 2020, I had over 300 active members.

I am now CAPPING MEMBERSHIP at 150!!  I need to keep the gym quiet.

There are basically 30 memberships now available as some people have reserved memberships already this week after they read my previous posts this week.

Once THIRTY more people join/rejoin……. that’s it!

Nobody else can join.

30 memberships available now, once they’re gone, they’re gone!!

………………………………………………..

To Take One Of The Remaining 30 Memberships…………

Pay £20 asap. Contact me. Call me. Email me. Message on any social media.

You can do bank transfer or PayPal or come to my house and pay cash – whatever is best for you.

That £20 will hold your membership ready for when we reopen.

That £20 is ALSO YOUR FIRST MONTH membership, which will begin from Monday 27th July.

Then, it’s £19.95 per month direct debit which will need to be setup ready for your SECOND MONTH.

There is no joining fee. There are no contracts.

Once 30 people pay £20 for their first month and to hold one of the 30 spaces there will be a waiting list to join.  First come first served.  I’d probably say, act fast.

…………………………………………..

If you have an active direct debit, continue as normal from Monday 27th July.

If you still have months to use which you paid for in advance before March 2020, just return as normal.

If you used to pay 1 month cash, and only had days or weeks remaining….. you’ll need to reserve a new membership as above and any days/weeks I owe you – I’ll sort out with you when we reopen.

PT people, I’ll be in touch with you all next week individually.

Hi Simon, how do I stand with my membership which has been paid throughout lockdown? I would like to get back when you re-open even if this means updating my membership.

        Hi Peter,

If your subscriptions remains active – continue as normal, you do not need to do anything with regards to memberships.

On your first session back, there is a new covid paperwork with guidelines and regulations you’ll need to follow whilst you are in the gym.

When to wear masks, social distancing, wiping down equipment etc etc is all explained in said paperwork.

        Hope to see you soon,

        Cheers,

        Si
